Democrawonk serves up liberal political commentary with a satirical kick. We take factual context seriously and use humor to challenge political spin, corporate power, hypocrisy, and bad ideas. Our perspective is explicit; no party gets a free pass.
Sources And Verification
Factual context is researched using established news organizations and primary documents where available. Articles link to the sources supporting their claims. Dates, quotations, numbers, and descriptions of events should be checked before publication. We do not claim on-the-scene reporting or access to confidential sources we have not actually obtained.
Facts, Opinion, And Satire
Articles are presented as opinion and satire. Analysis, predictions, comic comparisons, and exaggeration are our commentary, not verified events. We aim to make that distinction clear and avoid inventing quotations or presenting fictional events as factual reporting.
AI Assistance And Images
AI tools may assist with research, drafting, editing, and illustrations. AI assistance does not replace source checking. Cartoon and satirical illustrations are visual commentary rather than documentary evidence and do not carry repetitive AI labels. Published articles are available through the website and RSS, and may be shared to connected social accounts. Email subscriptions use the site’s own form, with digest delivery available when configured and enabled.
