Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This policy explains how Democrawonk uses cookies and similar technologies in its current website setup.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small pieces of information a website or its service providers may store in your browser. They can support sign-in, security, preferences, analytics, or advertising. Similar browser storage includes local storage and session storage.
Our Current Setup
We have not enabled visitor analytics cookies, advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or embedded social media tracking widgets. The public blog does not currently use application-set cookies, local storage, or session storage to remember readers or track their browsing across websites.
Hosting, Security, And Owner Sign-In
Our hosting and authentication services may use essential cookies or other technical mechanisms to deliver the site, protect against abuse, and authenticate the owner’s editorial access. Reading public articles does not require signing in. These services may also process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, and server logs; that information is separate from cookies.
Email Subscriptions
Our subscription form sends your email address and consent to the site’s server. Subscription records and secure management token hashes are stored on the server, rather than in browser cookies or local storage. Confirmation and unsubscribe links use tokens or signatures in the link itself. To limit abusive signups, the server temporarily stores a hashed network identifier; this is not a cookie placed on your device. See our Privacy Policy for more information about personal data.
Fonts And External Links
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those resources from Google, which may receive technical request information, including your IP address and browser information. This is an external resource request, not a visitor analytics tool installed by Democrawonk.
Our social buttons and source links take you to external websites. We do not embed their feeds or tracking widgets on the public blog. When you follow a link, the destination may use its own cookies under its own policies. Tools used to distribute our articles to social platforms do not install visitor tracking cookies on this site.
Your Browser Controls
You can review, delete, or block cookies in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking essential cookies may interfere with owner sign-in or hosting security features. The current site has no optional analytics or advertising cookies to accept or reject, so it does not display a consent banner for those categories.
Changes To This Policy
If we add analytics, advertising, embedded content, or other features that change our use of cookies or browser storage, we will update this policy and provide any applicable choices before activating optional tracking.
